Digital Marketing Manager

About the role

Platinum Seed is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead the planning, execution and optimisation of digital campaigns for both client projects and the company’s own brand. Based in Cape Town, the role is full‑time and hybrid, combining strategic thinking with hands‑on content creation and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns.
• Manage social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
• Create on‑brand copy and content captions for each platform.
• Plan, schedule and publish content; maintain an editorial calendar.
• Set up, manage and optimise paid social media campaigns.
• Monitor community engagement, respond to comments/messages and nurture relationships.
• Track and analyse social and digital performance metrics; produce regular reports with insights.
• Use data to optimise content, posting cadence, targeting and spend; run A/B tests.
• Coordinate social campaigns with product, PR and customer success teams.
• Monitor competitive landscape and social trends; recommend new formats, channels or tactics.
• Enforce social media policies, crisis‑response guidelines and content approval workflows.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, influencers or freelancers.
• Manage strategic client relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media marketing and lead generation.
• Strong background in digital marketing campaign creation, management and optimisation.
• Experience with marketing and web analytics tools to measure performance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and independently.
• Excellent written communication for creating clear, on‑brand copy.
• Ability to analyse data and provide actionable recommendations.
