Diesel Mechanic – Red Seal (Agricultural Industry)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic with a Red Seal certification to join our agricultural equipment team. The role involves keeping farm machinery running efficiently to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and service a range of agricultural diesel equipment.
• Inspect machines regularly to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Ensure minimal downtime by performing timely preventative maintenance.

Required profile

• Grade 12 education with a Red Seal Mechanical Trade certification.
• 3 to 5 years of product‑related mechanical experience.
• At least 1 year of experience communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• At least 1 year of experience interacting with senior authority levels.
• At least 1 year of computer literacy.

Required skills

• Mechanical repair of diesel equipment.
• Equipment maintenance and servicing.
• Machine inspection.
• Computer literacy for maintenance software.
