Dialogue, Outreach & Advocacy Officer

About the role

Join a respected South African regulatory organisation as a Dialogue, Outreach & Advocacy Officer. You will translate complex auditing and ethics standards into clear, engaging content that informs and empowers a wide range of stakeholders. This role sits at the intersection of communication, stakeholder engagement and professional services.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate stakeholder forums, roundtables, webinars, workshops and outreach initiatives.
• Develop and execute communication and engagement plans for technical content.
• Translate auditing and ethics standards into accessible communications.
• Draft presentations, reports, articles and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with technical experts and communications teams to produce learning resources, digital content and educational materials.
• Support creation of infographics, explainer videos and other digital resources.
• Analyse stakeholder feedback and engagement metrics to improve outreach.
• Build and maintain relationships with professional bodies, audit firms, regulators, academia and other key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Corporate Communications or a related field.
• Qualification in Auditing or Accounting combined with communication experience.
• 3–5 years’ experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, outreach or a similar role.
• Proven experience coordinating events, webinars, training programmes or stakeholder initiatives.
• Strong writing skills for professional communications, reports and presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
