Desktop Support Technician – Onsite IT Support

About the role

MiWay is looking for an IT Support Technician to provide on‑site technical assistance at its Kosmosdal office. You will be the first point of contact for desktop, laptop and mobile device issues, ensuring a reliable and secure technology environment for employees.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support for Windows 11, Office 365, Teams, Outlook and Mac OS devices.
• Manage desktop‑related service requests and maintain asset integrity.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs and replacements.
• Use Jira Service Management or similar ITSM tools to track incidents and fulfil SLA commitments.
• Support telephony platforms such as Genesys Cloud where required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
• CompTIA A+ certification (required) and CompTIA Network+ or equivalent (advantageous).
• 2–3 years of desktop/IT support experience (Level 1‑2).
• Experience in a call‑centre environment and with ITSM platforms is a plus.
