Design Lead – Head Office

About the role

Netcare Group is transforming healthcare in South Africa to be more person‑centred and digitally enabled. The Design Lead will bring this vision to life by shaping the brand, creating campaigns and overseeing all visual collateral across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage Netcare’s brand image, campaigns and both printed and electronic collateral.
• Lead the digital creative team, guiding concept development from brief to final delivery.
• Produce a wide range of outputs, including presentations, Word documents, and internal/external campaign materials.
• Mentor and grow junior digital designers, ensuring consistent high‑quality work.
• Set long‑term creative goals and present concepts confidently to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Dynamic, self‑motivated professional with a strong conceptual and design portfolio.
• Strategic thinker with an understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a creative team.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
