Delivery Driver

About the role

The Delivery Driver will join Furniture Installation Technologies in Cape Town to ensure safe and timely delivery of furniture to residential and commercial customers. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on reliable logistics, careful handling of goods, and professional on‑site service.

Key responsibilities

• Load, transport, and unload furniture items while adhering to safety standards.
• Inspect delivery vehicles daily and plan efficient delivery routes.
• Verify delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures.
• Assist with basic placement or installation of furniture as required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams, reporting any issues promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely following health‑and‑safety guidelines.
• Reliability, punctuality and flexibility to work varied hours.
• Previous experience in delivery, logistics or furniture handling is an advantage.
