Deck Fitter – Assembly C5 Department

About the role
We are seeking skilled Deck Fitters to join our Assembly C5 Department. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will contribute to the manufacturing of high‑quality components by assembling and fitting deck fitting parts.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble and fit all deck fitting components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Operate power tools such as grinders, jigsaws, and drills safely and efficiently.
- Take responsibility for the quality and accountability of your own work.
- Manage time, attendance, and shift schedules.
Required profile
- Minimum NQF Level 2 (Grade 10) qualification; NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) preferred.
- At least 2½ years of relevant deck‑fitting experience.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
- Ability to work shifts and collaborate in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of quality standards within a manufacturing setting.
Required skills
- Proficiency with power tools: grinder, jigsaw, drill.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
