Data Science & Pricing Graduate

About the role

Houst is seeking a motivated recent graduate to join its Data team on a contract basis. You will support data analysis and reporting across the business while taking ownership of the pricing algorithm that drives revenue for the property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full data pipeline from source systems through BigQuery to LookML models and business‑facing dashboards.
• Maintain and develop LookML code to meet evolving data needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Assist users in building and owning their own dashboards.
• Present insights using effective data visualisation techniques.
• Design, improve, and implement the pricing algorithm with developers.
• Run live pricing experiments and evaluate their impact.
• Identify, plan, and execute data analysis projects, applying statistical methods.
• Analyse large datasets to uncover trends and patterns.
• Build predictive models and machine‑learning algorithms aligned with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BSc or MSc) in Data Science, Mathematics, or Data Analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset with solid business acumen.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage stakeholder expectations.
