Data Center Technician – Infrastructure Operations

About the role

We are seeking Data Center Technicians to join AWS Infrastructure Services’ Data Center Operations team. In this role you will be the primary resolver for hardware, fiber and networking issues across AWS data centers, ensuring high‑availability and safety of the infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hardware, fiber and network problems in AWS data centers.
• Perform troubleshooting within internal Service Level Agreements and conduct root‑cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Follow and promote the highest safety standards, including participation in safety initiatives and projects.
• Handle and lift equipment in accordance with regulatory weight limits.
• Collaborate with other support groups for complex issues and drive solutions.

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with ability to act as the primary resolver for a support team.
• Physical ability to perform manual handling and equipment repairs.
• Commitment to a world‑class safety culture.
• Willingness to work onsite in a data‑center environment.
