Data Center Technician – Data Center Operations

About the role

We are seeking Data Center Technicians to join AWS Infrastructure Services. In this role you will be the primary resolver for hardware, fiber and networking issues in AWS data centers, ensuring safe and reliable operation of critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hardware, fiber and network problems in data center environments.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of equipment failures and document findings.
• Follow and promote the highest safety standards, including manual handling and lifting procedures.
• Resolve incidents within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and coordinate with other solution groups for complex cases.
• Support day‑to‑day operations of AWS cloud regions by maintaining servers, storage, power and cooling equipment.

Required profile

• Strong focus on safety and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and networking issues.
• Capability to perform detailed root‑cause analysis and follow documented processes.
• Willingness to collaborate with diverse engineering, security and operations teams.
