Data Analyst

About the role

Unifi is seeking a Data Analyst to analyse complex data sets and deliver actionable insights that support data‑informed decisions across its African operations. The role involves designing visualisations and solutions using Google Cloud Platform tools such as Looker and BigQuery, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimise processes and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, extract and compile data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Clean, transform and structure raw data for analysis, resolving quality issues and anomalies.
• Perform exploratory analysis, apply statistical techniques and visualise findings to identify trends and patterns.
• Create dashboards and reports in Google Looker, and maintain standard reporting templates.
• Support cross‑functional teams with analytical insights for market analysis, customer segmentation and performance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies, data protection regulations and security protocols.
• Maintain data dictionaries and documentation, and stay updated on emerging data‑analysis technologies.
