Data Analyst II

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, self‑motivated Data Analyst II to unlock value from data within our banking operations. The role will make data accessible and meaningful for stakeholders, turning raw information into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and improve performance.

Key responsibilities

• Transform complex data sets into clear visualisations and dashboards for business units.
• Identify trends, patterns and opportunities to support decision‑making and operational optimisation.
• Lead data‑analysis projects and collaborate with finance, marketing, IT and other cross‑functional teams.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Apply statistical modelling, predictive analytics and risk analysis to financial data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within financial services or banking.
• Track record of leading data‑analysis projects that deliver measurable business impact.
• Strong understanding of financial products, industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work with large data sets and guide cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL query writing and performance optimisation.
• Expertise in Excel, including macros and VBA.
• Proficiency with data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Advanced programming in Python or R (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn).
• Statistical methods, predictive analytics and data‑modelling techniques.
