Customer Service Consultant – Customer Care

About the role

Join Hollywoodbets' Purple Team as a Customer Service Consultant, providing seamless support to our growing customer base in Umhlanga, Durban. You will be the first point of contact across multiple channels, ensuring queries and complaints are resolved quickly and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints across phone, email, chat and social platforms.
• Perform security checks and adhere to compliance policies during each interaction.
• Investigate and resolve issues by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain quality standards and meet KPI targets for response time and satisfaction.
• Escalate complex cases following the internal escalation process.
• Support ad‑hoc operational tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in customer service or a contact centre environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, vibrant industry.
• Basic knowledge of betting types and platforms is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with betting platforms (knowledge of betting types).
