Customer Service Clerk

About the role

Join Absa Bank Limited as a Customer Service Clerk and play a key part in delivering exceptional support to our clients. You will work within the Customer Services Centre, following established procedures to ensure a smooth and satisfying experience for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Respond efficiently, accurately and courteously to all customer inquiries, complaints and service requests.
• Adhere to and help improve processes within the CMP Customer Services Centre.
• Monitor risk and ensure all activities comply with Absa’s risk, compliance, legal and regulatory policies.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand and address their needs promptly.
• Take ownership of personal training and development to continuously enhance performance.

Required profile

• Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce or Management Studies.
• Strong communication skills with a courteous and professional attitude.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and identify improvement opportunities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance and risk management.
