About the role

The municipality is seeking a senior manager to lead its Customer Relations Management Call Centre. The role is the first point of contact for consumers and ensures efficient service delivery across the municipality’s billing and revenue functions.

Key responsibilities

Manage the operational needs of the Customer Relations Management Call Centre, serving and communicating with all consumers.
Oversee strategic and day‑to‑day business operations of the call centre.
Collaborate with the Revenue Management Division to ensure continuous networking, communication and accurate billing of the consumer base.
Maintain oversight of call‑centre staffing capacity and provide liaison and interaction with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

BCom degree in Accounting.
Valid code B/EB driver’s licence.
Computer literacy.
National Treasury minimum competence requirements (or obtainable within 18 months of appointment).
Six years of relevant experience, including at least three years at management level.
