About the role
As a Customer Operations Manager you will develop and roll out global customer‑operations strategies, ensuring that sales units across the region deliver on‑time, high‑quality service to our clients. You will lead a team, own end‑to‑end metrics and drive continuous improvement in order and delivery processes.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and improve delivery performance, lead time, case‑closing time, digital order ratio, clean order percentage and Net Promoter Score.
- Deploy order entry and management processes, including master data, pricing, order acknowledgment, changes, delivery notes, credit limits and best‑practice adoption.
- Implement pre‑order booking control checks, identify root causes and apply preventive actions.
- Lead the local implementation of the customer case‑management programme.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in customer operations or logistics.
- Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders (sales, marketing, factories, customers).
- Experience in the South African Sub‑Sahara market or similar industry.
