Customer Assistant – Fashion, Beauty & Home

About the role

Join Woolworths Westwood DBN as a Customer Assistant in the Fashion, Beauty & Home department. You will work on the shop floor of Westwood Mall in Westville, delivering friendly service, keeping shelves stocked and supporting sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, provide product advice and recommend suitable items.
• Maintain stock availability by replenishing the sales floor from the stockroom.
• Ensure merchandise is correctly priced, ticketed and displayed according to visual standards.
• Keep the store and back‑of‑house areas clean, safe and well‑organized.
• Monitor stock loss, report suspicious activity and follow shrinkage controls.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in retail or fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) is advantageous.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with good verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain merchandising standards.
• Reliability in attendance, dress code, hygiene and punctuality.
• Flexibility to work various shifts in a dynamic environment.
