Customer Advisor – Technical Support & Sales

About the role

As a Customer Advisor you will join a skilled, motivated team delivering market‑leading service to Hive customers. You will interact with customers via phone, web‑chat and email, identify their needs, troubleshoot technical issues and promote relevant products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer contacts, clarifying complaints and determining root causes.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and provide step‑by‑step solutions.
• Promote new Hive products and services where appropriate.
• Manage escalated queries with empathy, logging interactions accurately.
• Maintain high‑quality service standards while meeting tight response deadlines.
• Adhere to data protection, confidentiality and company policies.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• 6‑12 months experience in a call‑centre environment.
• Experience with web‑chat, sales and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to identify vulnerable customers and adapt approach.
• Excellent time‑management, active listening and problem‑solving skills.

• Moderate to advanced computer and system navigation skills.
