Customer Advisor

About the role

As a Customer Advisor you will join a skilled, motivated team delivering market‑leading service to Capita’s customers. You will handle inbound queries, troubleshoot technical issues, and promote relevant products while ensuring a fair and excellent experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service, resolving product or service problems efficiently.
• Identify vulnerable customers, adapt the approach and offer additional support when needed.
• Handle escalated queries with empathy, log interactions accurately and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Manage a wide range of queries across a telephony platform, meeting daily service‑delivery targets.
• Adhere to data‑protection and confidentiality regulations.
• Work shifts aligned with UK time, including weekends and festive periods.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Minimum 9 months international BPO or 12 months domestic call‑centre experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to handle complex issues, active listening and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to data privacy and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with telephony platforms/systems.
