Customer Advisor – Call Centre

About the role

The Customer Advisor will join Capita South Africa’s 24/7 call centre supporting Hive customers. You will handle inbound queries across phone, webchat and email, delivering tailored solutions while adhering to UK‑time operational schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to a wide range of customer queries, including sales, technical troubleshooting and account changes.
• Provide accurate, empathetic support to vulnerable customers and manage escalated cases.
• Log interactions precisely and meet daily service‑delivery targets.
• Utilise product knowledge of Hive devices and the Hive App to proactively solve problems.
• Work rotating shifts (Monday‑Saturday, 9 AM‑9 PM SA time) including holidays and weekends.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• 6‑12 months experience in a customer service call centre with webchat, sales and technical troubleshooting exposure.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong time‑management, active listening and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to handle complex issues with empathy and integrity.
