Creditors Clerk Assistant

About the role

The Creditors Clerk Assistant provides essential support to the finance team by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role involves data capture, verification, and routine finance administration in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of data from designated sources before entering it into the financial system.
• Locate and correct visible data errors, confirming integrity with supervisors.
• Capture information into the financial system(s) as required and double‑check entries for accuracy.
• Perform general finance duties, including filing, reconciliations, and supporting accounts payable/receivable processes.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of accounts payable and receivable.
• Minimum of 2 years’ data‑capture experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage changing workload priorities under pressure.
• Commitment to confidentiality, high attention to detail, and strong administrative skills.
• Professional attitude, honesty, integrity, and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
