Credit Controller – French Speaking (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Credit Controller will manage the end‑to‑end Accounts Receivable process, ensuring timely collections, effective dispute resolution and robust credit risk management. This 12‑month fixed‑term position requires fluency in French to interact with French‑speaking customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle dispute management by providing clear communication, conducting root‑cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Drive collections performance, maintain transparent collection processes and record proactive collection activities.
• Reconcile customer statements, verify documentation and ensure accuracy of all reconciliations.
• Oversee the full credit management cycle, operate within the credit risk framework and maintain internal control records.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on credit exposure, collection activity, risk profiles and payment patterns, recommending corrective measures where needed.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 6 (Diploma in Credit Management).
• At least 3 years of credit experience in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work outside normal business hours when required.
• Advantageous: additional Credit Management Diploma or experience in the oil industry.
