About the role
The Road Accident Fund is seeking two enthusiastic graduates to join its Durban office as Correspondence Interns. This 18‑month internship offers hands‑on experience in mail processing, archive management and front‑office support while contributing to the Fund’s mission of assisting accident victims.
Key responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, including batching and distribution.
- Manage correspondence tasks such as filing, retrieval, scanning and auditing of files.
- Administer banking indemnity forms and maintain correspondence infrastructure.
- Provide data‑capture services and support archive administrative matters.
- Perform reception and switchboard duties, including handling off‑site file requests.
Required profile
- Completed Grade 12/NQF Level 4 and a relevant NQF Level 7 qualification (bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma).
- Unemployed graduate aged 18‑25 with no prior work experience in the field.
- Willingness to commit to an 18‑month internship and undergo security vetting.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
Required skills
- Basic computer literacy.
