Copywriter (Independent Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for an independent copywriter to create, edit and proofread content for our clients across a range of marketing channels. The contractor will work closely with the creative team to deliver clear, engaging and persuasive copy that aligns with client strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Research, write, edit and proofread content for websites, email, digital campaigns, press releases, blogs, video scripts and social media posts.
• Produce written materials in various formats, including press releases, blogs, web content, SEO copy and direct marketing pieces.
• Conduct interviews and research to develop longer‑form content such as thought‑leadership articles.
• Proofread all work and ensure error‑free, on‑brand copy that meets client briefs.
• Collaborate with art directors, account managers and clients to brainstorm ideas and refine copy based on feedback.
• Manage time, priorities and production schedules while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands.

Required profile

• Professional communication skills with both internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to understand target audiences and translate briefs into compelling creative.
• Strong time‑management and ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
