Contracts Manager (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead HSE compliance, quality assurance and financial performance across multiple construction sites. The role involves overseeing documentation, stakeholder relationships and team performance in a dynamic building and civil construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership to promote HSE compliance in the workplace.
• Take full responsibility for overall quality compliance of assigned projects.
• Drive short‑ and long‑term planning, programming and document management via SharePoint and the BOS system.
• Plan, monitor and manage project costs to optimise site financial performance.
• Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders.
• Set objectives, provide clarity and manage performance of reportees according to assigned roles.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree or diploma in Building or Civil engineering (SACPCMP – Construction Manager required).
• 10+ years of technical experience, including at least 6 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven experience managing 1–3 construction sites simultaneously.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence; willingness to travel extensively between sites.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Candy, CCS Programming and Planning.
• Proficiency with SharePoint, OneDrive and BOS & SHEQ compliance systems.
• Familiarity with Build Smart, CCS Estimating and CCS Valuation.
• Strong contractual, commercial and project management expertise.
• Extensive knowledge of construction programming, quality management, cost reporting and stakeholder management.
