Continuous Auditing Lead

About the role

As the Continuous Auditing Lead for VE Group, you will operate the new Continuous Auditing Program and support the audit analytics tool across all operating units. You will analyse alerts, validate findings and produce audit reports that drive improvements in the control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform continuous auditing, analyse alerts and recommend corrective actions to address root‑causes of control deficiencies.
• Maintain and operate the ACL audit tool, developing and updating analytics scripts that target key risks and recurring findings.
• Design, build and maintain visualisations and dashboards (e.g., PowerBI) to present audit results.
• Manage escalation frameworks to ensure timely review of alerts and appropriate communication to senior management.
• Track investigations and intervention plans across the group, ensuring follow‑up and resolution of identified risks.
• Share best practices and drive year‑on‑year control improvement across multiple countries and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Control, Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in audit or control functions, with at least 4 years in scripting continuous audit analytics.
• Proven record of delivering control improvements in a multi‑country, multi‑cultural environment.
• Experience in downstream oil and gas, SAP S/4HANA, procurement, inventory, retail or finance is desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as CIA, CISA, CFE, ACDA are a plus.
