Continuous Auditing Lead

About the role

As the Continuous Auditing Lead at VE Group, you will own the new Continuous Auditing Program and support the audit analytics tool across all operating units. You will analyse alerts, validate continuous audit findings, and produce actionable audit reports to strengthen the control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform continuous auditing, recommend improvements, and advise on internal control best practices.
• Maintain and operate the ACL audit tool, developing analytics scripts for key risks and recurring findings.
• Design, maintain, and enhance visualisations and dashboards for audit insights.
• Manage analysis and escalation frameworks to ensure timely review of alerts and escalation of high‑risk items.
• Track analytics reviews, investigations, and follow‑up actions across the group.
• Share best practices and drive year‑on‑year control improvements across multiple countries and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Control, Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in audit or control functions, with at least 4 years in scripting continuous audit analytics.
• Proven record of delivering control improvements in a multi‑country, multi‑culture environment.
• Experience in downstream oil & gas and SAP S/4HANA is desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as CIA, CISA, CFE or ACDA are a plus.
