About the role

Hunterlodge is seeking an experienced Content Writer to join its specialised team serving UK universities. You will craft compelling copy that informs, inspires and drives performance across a range of digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Write and edit website pages, landing pages and campaign assets for undergraduate, postgraduate, international and research audiences.
• Develop content for institutional, faculty, department and subject‑level pages, adapting tone to each university’s personality.
• Optimise copy for AI‑powered search and answer engines, applying the agency’s AI Visibility framework.
• Research client propositions, interview academics and marketing teams, and translate complex academic subjects into clear language.
• Collaborate with strategists to ensure content balances creativity with commercial performance.
• Maintain consistency and authority across all client content.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional copywriting or content writing experience.
• Exceptional written English with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to produce long‑form website content and simplify complex information.
• Strong research and interviewing skills, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience using AI writing tools responsibly.
• Knowledge of SEO and content optimisation techniques.
