Construction Operations Manager – Caribbean

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Operations Manager to join our team in the Caribbean. This hands‑on leadership position will act as the operational counterpart to the Principal Developer, ensuring that multiple commercial, residential and waterfront projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of several concurrent construction projects, monitoring programme milestones and performance.
• Identify risks, constraints and bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions.
• Coordinate closely with site teams, contractors, consultants and suppliers to keep projects on track.
• Maintain a strong on‑site presence, managing labour, subcontractors, equipment and material resources.
• Ensure site productivity, quality, health and safety compliance.
• Lead procurement activities, including material sourcing, supplier engagement and logistics planning.
• Support cost management through forward planning and strategic supplier relationships.
• Provide regular progress updates and recommendations to the Principal Developer.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction programmes in commercial, residential or mixed‑use environments.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities with a hands‑on leadership style.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between ownership, project teams and external partners.
• Ability to travel regularly between multiple sites across the Caribbean.
