Construction Manager – Industrial & Mining Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead large‑scale industrial, mining and Eskom‑related projects in Lephalale, Limpopo. The role involves overseeing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery of plant construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all on‑site construction activities for industrial and mining plant projects.
• Coordinate Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, EC&I and Technical disciplines.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site resources.
• Monitor progress, produce status reports and ensure compliance with schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Interpret and review engineering and hydraulic drawings and specifications.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Drive productivity, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to HSEQ standards and support commissioning and handover.

Required profile

• Relevant Engineering Degree or Diploma with SACPCMP registration.
• 5–10 years of construction management experience in industrial, mining or Eskom environments.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and hydraulic drawings.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies in heavy‑industrial settings.
