Construction Manager (C.CM / Pr.CM) – Multi‑storey Residential Projects

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead multi‑storey residential developments in the Western Cape. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from inception to handover, ensuring quality, safety, and commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all site activities, including concrete works, wet trades, finishing trades and project close‑out.
• Manage General Foremen, Construction Supervisors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Control contracts, procurement, budgeting and commercial aspects of the project.
• Ensure compliance with South African construction legislation and HSE requirements.
• Interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings to guide execution.

Required profile

• BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field (National Technical Diploma advantageous).
• Registered with SACPCMP as C.CM or Pr.CM.
• 8–10 years in building construction, with at least 5 years in a senior supervisory or construction‑management role.
• Proven track record managing multi‑storey residential projects.
