Concrete Repairer – On‑site Role in East London

About the role

Kilnbridge is seeking a full‑time Concrete Repairer to work on‑site in East London. You will be responsible for repairing both structural and non‑structural concrete elements, ensuring that all work meets the company’s high standards for quality, safety and durability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces, break out defective concrete and reinstate areas using appropriate repair materials.
• Mix and apply concrete repair products, perform crack repairs and seal joints.
• Read and follow method statements, technical specifications and construction drawings.
• Use hand and power tools safely while maintaining a clean, organised work area.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers and other site teams to deliver work on time and to specification.

Required profile

• Practical experience in concrete repair, including surface preparation and application of repair mortars or coatings.
• Ability to interpret basic construction drawings, method statements and technical data sheets.
• Strong awareness of site health and safety practices and proper use of PPE.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Relevant trade qualification or NVQ in Concrete Repair or a related discipline (desirable).
• CSCS card or equivalent site access certification preferred.
