Computer Application Studies Teacher (FET) – High School

About the role

SPARK Schools is seeking a dynamic Computer Application Studies Educator for the FET phase of its high schools. The role involves delivering both face‑to‑face and distance lessons, contributing to an inquiry‑based blended learning environment, and supporting scholars in achieving their matriculation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, teach, and co‑teach classroom and online Computer Application Studies lessons.
• Collaborate with grade‑level and content partners to design rigorous, engaging learning experiences.
• Develop and administer formative and termly assessments, analyse data, and intervene to support student progress.
• Lead character development sessions (CQ) and support scholars’ social‑emotional growth.
• Implement programmes for low‑performing scholars and enrichment for high‑performing scholars.
• Participate in place‑based education, career guidance, and tertiary pathway initiatives.
• Promote SPARK culture and apply behaviour management strategies.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, scholars, and families.
