About the role
A well-established consumer products manufacturer in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs is looking for an experienced Compounder. You will report to the Production Supervisor and weigh and combine raw materials to produce batches that meet specification the first time, in a cGMP facility where accuracy and procedure matter at every step.
Key responsibilities
- Weigh and combine raw materials according to the Batch Manufacturing Document
- Keep raw material stock counts and check expiry dates
- Operate, clean and verify equipment and instruments daily
- Record batches accurately and immediately, checking them before submission
Required profile
- Matric or NQF 4 equivalent
- Three years' experience as a Compounder or in a similar role in a relevant industry
- Well organised and adaptable when production plans change
- Punctual, dependable and precise, and able to lift 25kg
Required skills
- cGMP and SOP compliance (pharmaceutical cGMP is advantageous)
- Balance verification and calibration checks
- Awareness of Quality Management Systems
