About the role

Experian Africa is offering a Compliance Internship for the 2025/2026 programme. Interns will work directly with the Compliance and Data Protection teams, gaining hands‑on experience in data protection, regulatory compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

Monitor internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Support the Data Protection Officer with data subject access requests and incident responses.
Conduct research on legal and compliance trends and prepare reports.
Assist in maintaining governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platforms and documentation.
Develop and deliver compliance awareness training and contribute to strategic compliance projects.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Risk Management, Business, Compliance or a related field.
Strong interest in compliance, data protection and regulatory work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail, organisational ability and commitment to confidentiality.
