Compliance Administrator

About the role

Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking a Compliance Administrator to strengthen their compliance monitoring function. You will work closely with the compliance team to ensure regulatory standards are met and support ongoing improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic reviews, record any deficiencies and generate remediation action points.
• Perform client screening using internal systems and open‑source searches.
• Collect and verify client due‑diligence documentation in line with company policies.
• Monitor automated ongoing screening results and investigate potential adverse matches.
• Execute compliance monitoring programmes, record findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in training sessions to stay current with regulatory changes.
• Assist with project management of new compliance initiatives.
• Help develop, implement and continuously improve internal policies and procedures.
• Support the creation and delivery of compliance training materials for staff.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance to staff on compliance, AML/CFT/CPF matters.

Required profile

• Matric qualification; a related post‑secondary qualification is advantageous.
• 1‑2 years of experience in the financial services industry with prior compliance exposure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and problem‑solving aptitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to support team and business needs.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
