Community and Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The Community and Marketing Coordinator is the pulse of campus life at CampusKey. You will bring students together, create engaging content, and ensure every learner feels part of the CampusKey family. The role blends event management, relationship building, and digital marketing in a fast‑paced, student‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute social, wellness, sport, kindness and workshop events, including Freshers and Kickstart Week.
• Lead and support student mentors, fostering strong relationships through wellbeing initiatives.
• Manage collaborations with local brands and keep communal spaces vibrant and on‑brand.
• Run campus‑level Instagram and TikTok accounts – creating, posting and engaging with content.
• Capture photo and video material for central campaigns and maintain campus website updates.
• Produce and install posters, activations, billboards and other visual assets.
• Drive viewings, allocations and re‑bookings to achieve full occupancy.
• Handle daily student communications via WhatsApp, email and direct messages, including crisis communication with central support.

Required skills

• Relevant 3‑year degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Experience managing social media platforms and events.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Afrikaans (additional language a plus).
• Valid driver’s licence and own car.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Canva and basic design tools.
