Community Advisor - Alternative Channels

About the role

FNB is hiring a Community Advisor for its Alternative Channels (Pick 'n Pay initiative) in Westville, as part of its Points of Presence (POP) team. This is a 12-month hourly-rate contract. The advisor delivers an efficient customer experience by understanding customer needs, offering tailored product solutions and directing customers to the most suitable service channels, including eChannels and self-service, while following established policies, processes and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide a positive, helpful experience.
• Educate customers about the banking platform that best fits their needs.
• Analyse customer data and recommend tailored solutions.
• Guide customers toward digital and self-service solutions and achieve sales results through contextual financial solutions.
• Ensure compliance with rules and processes, with attention to detail.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
• Preferred: NQF Level 5 certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service or a related field recognised by FAIS.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in customer-facing, service delivery or client support roles within financial services.
• Willingness to work on a shift structure.
