Communications Manager

About the role

The Communications Manager will shape OMIG’s narrative, strengthen its brand, and drive thought leadership within the asset‑management sector. This senior communications role requires strong economic literacy and the ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, compelling content for sophisticated audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication strategies that align with OMIG’s business objectives and brand positioning.
• Produce high‑quality long‑form content such as CIO commentaries, white papers, stewardship reports, fund reports, speeches and leadership correspondence.
• Maintain consistent messaging across internal and external channels, ensuring alignment with OMIG’s purpose, values and investment philosophy.
• Monitor competitor communications and market trends, providing insights to the marketing team.
• Integrate AI tools and emerging technologies into communication workflows to improve efficiency and creativity.
• Partner with senior leaders, portfolio managers and investment teams to gather insights and ensure accurate, timely content.
• Stay current on global investment, geopolitical and economic developments to inform relevant content.

Required profile

• Senior‑level communications professional with proven experience in financial services or asset management.
• Strong economic and investment knowledge, capable of producing intellectually rigorous content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of delivering high‑impact materials.
• Collaborative mindset, able to build trusted relationships across business functions.
• Proactive, innovative, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
