Commissioned Financial Adviser – Multiple Locations

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking dynamic, self‑motivated individuals to join its network of Commissioned Financial Advisers across Aliwal North, Theunissen, Ladybrand and Ficksburg. In this full‑time position you will help clients achieve their long‑term financial goals by understanding their needs, offering sound advice and delivering tailored financial plans.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customers’ financial objectives and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Provide consultative, fit‑for‑purpose financial advice and implement agreed plans.
• Generate new business through prospecting and manage a pipeline of personal leads.
• Expand sales of existing products and services to current clients.
• Maintain accurate sales data and use sales software to track performance.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong consultative selling and customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to build trust, ask probing questions and qualify prospects.
• Action‑oriented, results‑driven and accountable.
