Commercial Support Officer Intern

About the role

Join SternIngredients South Africa as a Commercial Support Officer Intern and become the primary liaison between our customers and internal teams. You will help ensure smooth order processing, timely communication, and support our marketing and event initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for daily customer enquiries and requests.
• Route customer requests to the appropriate internal departments and follow up to provide feedback.
• Prepare, verify, and dispatch order confirmations, quotations, samples, and product information.
• Maintain accurate customer records and commercial documentation.
• Assist the sales team with presentations, customer data, and general administration.
• Manage day‑to‑day social media activity, create content using Canva, and support marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate event marketing, trade shows, and sponsorship deliverables.

Required profile

• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and collaborating across departments.

Required skills

• Canva (or similar design tool) for creating marketing materials.
