About the role
The company, a leader in the manufacturing, FMCG and retail sector, is looking for a Commercial Manager to drive commercial decision‑making and improve profitability. Based in Kuils River, Cape Town, you will work closely with operational teams to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Key responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support commercial decisions.
- Partner with operational teams to identify and implement profitability and efficiency improvements.
- Oversee procurement performance, costing and margin management.
- Develop and maintain management accounting processes and reporting frameworks.
- Deliver strategic recommendations that enable business growth.
Required profile
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification.
- Minimum five years of experience in a commercial finance environment.
- Strong background in management accounting, procurement and data analysis.
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or retail industries.
- Proven ability to turn financial and operational data into actionable business insights.
