Commercial Manager - Facilities Management

About the role

Bidvest Facilities Management, a provider of integrated facilities management and engineering solutions in South Africa, is hiring a Commercial Manager for BFM Operations 2 in Centurion, Gauteng. This is a permanent full-time mid-senior management post linking operational execution, financial management and client contract performance. Applications close on 20 October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Manage management accounts, internal budget tracking and external financial reporting, and monitor operational expenditure to find cost-reduction opportunities.
• Analyse revenue growth, customer acquisition costs, churn rates and customer lifetime value to optimise bottom-line performance.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and delivery conditions for new business, and administer existing customer contracts and SLAs, including timely renewals and dispute resolution.
• Plan and schedule operational resources so maintenance meets engineering standards and client SLAs, and manage stock levels in distribution facilities.
• Use SAP maintenance systems to streamline workflows and supply chain logistics, and analyse telecom market trends and competitor pricing to drive growth.

Required profile

• Degree or National Diploma in Construction Management, Financial Management, Business Management or Sales and Marketing Management, plus a Grade 12 certificate.
• At least 5 years of management experience with resource planning, scheduling and financial management, ideally in telecommunications or facilities services.
• Valid Code 8 driver's licence (essential).
• Knowledge of the telecommunications sector, and familiarity with IMS, first aid training and OHS Act knowledge.

Required skills

• SAP maintenance management or another CMMS (highly advantageous)
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
• Project management, inventory management, asset management and SLA administration
