Collections Consultant

About the role

MiWay is looking for a Collections Consultant to join its customer‑service team. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, providing accurate product information and ensuring a high‑quality experience for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound telephone communication with the client base.
• Deliver service that exceeds customer expectations and builds constructive relationships.
• Accurately use the company’s IT system to record and resolve queries.
• Escalate calls to the appropriate department only when necessary.
• Provide product information in line with company standards and protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 / NQF 4 qualification.
• At least 2 years experience in a call‑centre environment, preferably with short‑term insurance.
• FAIS fit‑and‑proper status or a supervised period of less than two years remaining.
• Motivation from a team manager and a three‑month performance summary.
• Strong analytical mindset, self‑discipline and a results‑driven attitude.

Required skills

• Proficient use of the company’s IT system for call handling and data entry.
