Code 10 Truck Driver

About the role

Our client in the Waterberg area is seeking experienced Code 10 drivers to operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, delivering and collecting goods while adhering to company policies and road legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate Code 10 vehicles, including trucks and other heavy vehicles.
• Deliver and collect goods according to scheduled routes.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical defects.
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured, transported, and off‑loaded safely.
• Complete delivery notes, trip sheets, and other required documentation.
• Comply with the Road Traffic Act, company policies, and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle.
• Provide professional service to customers and clients.
• Report accidents, incidents, delays, or vehicle breakdowns promptly.

Required profile

• Valid South African Code 10 (C1) driver’s licence with a valid PDP/PrDP.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant driving experience.
• Good knowledge of South African roads and routes.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when required.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading/off‑loading where necessary.
