About the role
Kleinbaai Slipway is hiring seasonal coastal monitors for the period 19 October 2026 to 2 November 2026. Applicants must live in the Overstrand area; holidaymakers will not be considered.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent technical qualification (NQF Level 4)
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Older than 18 years
- Good communication and public relations skills in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape
- Physically strong and healthy
- Must be resident in Overstrand; preference will be given to unemployed residents of the Overstrand municipal area
- Available to perform shift work on weekends and public holidays
- Must report for duty at the stations named in the appointment letter
