About the role
The Buffeljagsbaai Slipway in Gansbaai is looking for a seasonal Coastal Monitor X4 to work between 19 October 2026 and 2 November 2026. Applicants must live in the Overstrand area; holidaymakers will not be considered.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent technical qualification (NQF Level 4)
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Older than 18 years
- Physically strong and healthy
- Good communication and public relations skills in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape
- Preference given to unemployed residents of the Overstrand municipal area
- Available to work shifts on weekends and public holidays
- Must report to duty at the stations named in the appointment letter
Applicants need banking details, an RSA identity document and a tax number.
