Cloud Solutions Architect

About the role

AO Connect Solutions is looking for a senior Cloud Solutions Architect to shape and drive enterprise‑wide cloud strategies. You will work closely with engineering, security and business teams to deliver secure, scalable and cost‑effective cloud solutions that align with our clients' digital transformation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise cloud architecture standards and best practices.
• Design secure, resilient and cost‑optimized cloud solutions on Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Develop cloud adoption roadmaps aligned with business and technology strategies.
• Lead cloud migration and application modernisation initiatives.
• Implement cloud governance, security and compliance frameworks.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code, DevOps and automation practices.
• Support cloud cost optimisation and FinOps initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, security and business stakeholders.
• Provide architectural leadership across enterprise cloud projects and mentor technical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 8‑12 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a Cloud Architecture role.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud solutions.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure; experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Experience with cloud migration, application modernisation and FinOps.
• Background in highly regulated industries (banking, insurance, etc.) is advantageous.
• Relevant cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, TOGAF, CKA) are a plus.
