Cloud Operations Engineer (DevOps)

About the role

Lovisa is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to ensure the stability, availability, security, and performance of its Microsoft Azure cloud environment. You will work across development, test, and production environments, supporting enterprise integrations and delivering reliable cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimise Azure cloud services, proactively resolving incidents and performance issues.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventative improvements to enhance platform resilience.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment management using Azure DevOps.
• Automate operational tasks, monitoring, and reporting with Python, PowerShell, APIs, and UiPath.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows that are reliable, scalable, and performant.
• Ensure cloud operations comply with security, governance, and best‑practice standards.
• Collaborate with global cross‑functional teams on integrations, APIs, and end‑to‑end business processes.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in on‑call support and after‑hours activities for critical incidents and maintenance.

Required profile

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and IaC (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Turbo360, Datadog, Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and/or Python, including API integrations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Understanding of cloud security, governance and operational best practices.
• Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, customer‑focused environment.
• Willingness to support after‑hours work and critical incident management.
