Cloud Engineer

About the role

As a Cloud Engineer at Ekco you will deliver managed cloud services, maintaining and improving Microsoft‑based environments for our customers. You’ll work behind the scenes to ensure stability, security and operational excellence while collaborating with senior engineers and client teams.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
• Implement approved changes and service improvements.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft cloud environments.
• Perform technical troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Monitor customer environments and proactively identify issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Support automation and standardisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple customer teams.
• Participate in knowledge‑sharing and continuous improvement activities.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation when required.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Microsoft certifications are highly desirable (e.g., AZ‑104, MS‑102, MD‑102, SC‑900).
